# Adding a new admin Bedrock

### How to Op a Player

To grant operator (op) permissions to a player on your server, follow these steps:

1. First, open your server on [panel.stratanode.net](panel.stratanode.net) and navigate to the console.

2. In the console, type the command "op IGN," replacing "IGN" with the Minecraft username of the player you want to op.

||| It is important to note that the player must be logged into the server for the command to take effect.

3. The console will display a message confirming that the player has been granted operator permissions.
